Scotty's Choppers produce custom frames that come with a customisable set of accessories. Motorcycle frames are available in either rigid or Suspension ('softail') types. The accessories can be customised for the client and can be prepared to any level of finish required.

Fuel tanks, oil tanks, guards and frames can be all finished in a range of ways including full polish, powder coated or two pack paint including air brushing if requested.

This is precision motorcycle engineering at its best. The beauty of Scotty's Choppers frame kits is that all the engineering has been done. The alloy fuel tank, oil tank, rear fender, polished alloy struts and seatbase have all been mounted for you, you just have to bolt them together. Our frames are manufactured in precision frame jigs. When building these kits out all that needs to be done is a rear calliper mount and exhaust mount fitted to the frame. With these frame kits you have the best of both worlds, the comfort and convenience of a softail but the sexy look of the rigid style. Scotty's Choppers frame kits are available with rear wheel widths starting at 180 right through to the new 300 series wheels and tyres e.g. 250's, 280's, 300's. Any rake and stretch is also obtainable.

Wide Ass Kits for both 1986-1999 Evolution Style & the new 2000 to present Twin Cam model

Scotty's Choppers Evolution Wide Ass swingarm kits are designed for use on 1986 to 1999 softails with a 250 x 18 rear tyre. The rear wheel is offset to the right by 10mm, avoiding the need to cut the left side frame upright. Twin Cam Wide Ass kits are designed for us on 2000+ softails with an option of rear wheel width up to 300 wide.

Other details:

This system runs the transmission 1" (25mm) offset to the engine using a 1" offset transmission plate which is supplied (Front primary spacers and compensating sprocket are available through your local reseller or accessory shop).

Original frame struts need to be cut off and replaced with the units supplied to allow for fitting of the wider guard; this is the only cutting required as the rest of the assembly is mechanical fitting.

Prior to paint, these swingarms require brake bracket tab and belt or chain guard mounts to be welded on to suit varying systems.
